PGN, USTDA to study CNG-LNG distribution system project

State-owned gas distribution PT PGN on Monday signed a grant agreement with United State Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) for feasibility study on proposed compressed natural gas (CNG)? liquefied natural gas (LNG) distribution system project in Indonesia.
Under the agreement, UTSDA agreed to provide grant of US$487,800 for the study, while PGN will contribute about $54,200.
?This grant aims to increase the use of natural gas reserves in domestic,? U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia B. Lynn Pascoe told reporters.
In 2003, USTDA awarded a similar grant to PGN for the feasibility study of Kalimantan-Java gas pipeline project. (godang)
