PHE, Bumi Siak target higher oil production in 2013

The Joint Operating Body of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) and PT Bumi Siak Pusako (BSP), the operator of the CPP Block in central Sumatra basin, plan to ramp up oil production to 20,000 barrels per day in 2013 from 18,000 bpd forecast for 2012, BSP President Director M. Djusmadi told Petromindo.com.
He said to support the plan, the operator will drill more wells this year.
?The Joint Operating Body of PHE and BSP plans to carry out infill drilling of 10 wells and work-over on about 100 wells this year,? Djusmadi said, adding that the company will carry out exploration activities in West Area, Kasikan and Zamrud areas, Riau this year.
