PHE completes drilling of Randugunting-2 well

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) has completed drilling of Randugunting (RGT)-2 well in Randugunting block, East Java Province.
Rudy Ryacuku, Exploration Director at PHE, said to Petromindo.com on Tuesday that production test results show gas find of more than 20 mmscfd at the well, which can be used to meet gas demand in Java. He added that the results will be further evaluated both in terms of technical and commercial aspects.
He said that the drilling of the RGT-2 well started on November 21 of last year with a target total depth of 1,500 meters. The well was put under temporary plug and abandon status on January 12.
