PHE drills 15 development wells in WMO block

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has drilled 15 development wells within the West Madura Offshore (WMO) block so far this year.
The drilling covered five wells in the PHE-38B platform, six wells in the PHE-40 platform, and four wells in the PHE-54 platform, said PHE's Operations Director, Eddy Purnomo, to Petromindo.com on Friday.
"Five wells in the PHE-38B platform has flowed oil at (a rate of) 14,000 bopd and gas at 12 mmscfd. Six wells in the PHE-40 has produced oil at 3,700 bopd and gas at 23.5 mmscfd, " said Eddy, adding that the production of four development wells that were drilled in the PHE-54 platform is still waiting for the installation of new pipe facility.
