PT Pertamina Hulu Energy (PHE) is targeting a production increase of between 5,000 and 8,000 bopd in the second half of the year.
President Director Salis Aprilian told petromindo.com that the addition would mainly come from a production rise from PHE West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO), PHE Ogan Komering in onshore South Sumatra, PHE Pertamina-Petrochina East Java (PPEJ), PHE Jambimerang and PHE CPP block in Riau.
PHE recorded oil production of 59,353 bopd and 466 mmscfd of gas as of the end of March, according to the latest data available.
The production is still below this year?s target of 70,800 bopd and 525 mmscfd of gas. PHE has said land permit, high tides and rig scarcity were the main reasons behind the below-than-target performance.
