PHE ONWJ completes 3D seismic survey

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ), the operator of ONWJ block that spans 8,300 km2 from north of Cirebon to the Jakarta?s Thousand Islands, reported it has just completed a 3D seismic survey on 360 km2 area offshore Kerawang.
?The survey was conducted to find out the potentials there. We completed it by the end of last year,? said GM Jonly Sinulingga on Thursday during a company?s presentation.
Jonly said it was one of activities the company had carried out last year, which included the zero-accident installation of three new offshore platforms at the APN-E and APN-F fields, which managed to boost production by 110 mmscfd.
Available at the block is the network of more than 200 offshore platforms and 1,600 km subsea pipelines.
Jonly went on to say that the company will throughout 2013 carry out seismic surveys on a total of 800 km2 area.
