PHE ONWJ first-half oil output up 22.9 percent

Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ), the operator of the ONWJ oil and gas block, saw average daily oil production in the first half of this year increased by 22.9 percent to 38,996 bopd, compared to average output of 31,735 bopd in the same period of last year.
General Manager at PHE ONWJ, Jonly Sinulingga said on Friday that the output achieved in the first half was 6 percent higher than the first semester target of 36,816 bopd set in the company?s work, program and budget plan (WP&B). The revised WP&B set average daily oil output of 38,000 bopd for 2013.
?Gas sales volume during the first six semester of this year reached 187 mmscfd, or a 16.5 percent increase compared to the sales volume of 160 mmscfd in the same period of last year,? he said, adding that the first-half performance was 4.5 percent higher than the 179 mmscfd target set under the WP&B. The revised 2013 gas sales volume target is 175 mmscfd.
?We?ll continue to make efforts to increase oil and gas production so that the national production target can be achieved,? he added.
