PHE ONWJ optimizes gas supply to Tanjung Priok

As gas supply from PT Nusantara Regas has been flowing in to Muara Karang power plant, previous supplier PT Pertamina Hulu Energy is now optimizing its gas supply from ONWJ block to Tanjung Priok power plant.

?We are maximizing gas delivery from ONWJ to Tanjung Priok (power plant) so that Nusantara Regas can supply Muara Karang,? PHE ONWJ President Directur Tenny Wibowo told petromindo.com.

Hendra Jaya, Nusantara President Director, confirmed, saying ?It?s not a swap really, just a delivery redirection. Before, most of ONWJ gas was to supply Muara Karang. With the current gas supply from (Nusantara?s) FSRU to that plant, then the supply from ONWJ is redirected to Tanjung Priok because a pipeline is already available,? he told petromindo.com.

Tenny said at present, Muara Karang and Tanjung Priok is linked by one pipeline belonging to ONWJ.

Hendra added that once the pipeline tie-in project to add gas delivery capacity has been completed, Nusantara Regas would cooperate with ONWJ on a sharing-facility agreement so that Nusantara could also supply gas to Tanjung Priok.
