PHE ONWJ plans to drill six wells next year

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ), a subsidiary of upstream oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), plans to drill six wells in 2017, according to a top official of the firm.
?There will be five development wells and one exploration well which are planned to be drilled next year,? Executive Vice President/General Manager of PHE ONWJ Irwansyah told Petromindo.com, adding that the wells will be drilled by using Independent Leg Jack-up Drilling Unit.
PHE ONWJ has already started the rig tender. The company needs the drilling unit with a capacity of 3,000 HP, equipped with Top Drive System (TDS) of 750 tons and must be able to operate in water depths between 24 feet to 200 feet.
