PHE-ONWJ, Pupuk Kujang sign revised gas sales deal

PT Pertamina Hulu Energy Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) and PT Pupuk Kujang signed on Thursday amendment to their gas sales deal that will increase gas supply for the state fertilizer company by 54 TBTU (Trillion British Thermal Unit), starting on Feb. 12, 2012.
The gas will be streamed from development of APNE/F field. The allocation of extra gas for Pupuk Kujang was approved by the upstream oil and gas regulator BPMIGAS.
The two companies signed the gas sales deal on July 24, 2006, which requires the state oil and gas producer to provide gas to Pupuk Kujang starting on Feb. 12, 2008.
Following the amendement, PHE-ONWJ will supply a total of 57 BBTUD of gas, allowing the fertilizer company to continue running its Kujang 1A plant that supports the government?s commitment to fulfilling rice production target in West Java. (godang)
