PHE ONWJ shuts down two wells

Upstream company PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) ONWJ, operator of the ONWJ block in West Java, has been forced to shut down two wells, FNB-1 and FNB-2, in the block due to pipeline leakage since October 27.

Senior Vice President of PHE, Ifki Sukarya said that the shutdown has caused total production loss of 150 bopd.

Repeated attempts by PHE diving team to fix the leaks since early November have not been completely successful as the leak keeps reoccurring.

Efforts to fix the problem will be resumed after November 14, Ifki said.
