PHE plans to drill Kumis #2 exploration well end of this year

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Siak (PHE Siak), an indirect subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, plans to drill the Kumis #2 exploration well at the Siak PSC in Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province, at the end of this year.

Pertamina said in a statement Friday that the local administration on September 4 met with local villagers in Kunto Darussalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency, to promote the drilling program. The statement said that the local villagers supported the program.

Siak PSC was formerly operated by Chevron Pacific Indonesia but was transferred to Pertamina in 2014.
