PHE Randu Gunting spuds CPE-1 exploration well

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Randu Gunting, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, has spudded its CPE-1 exploration well in Central Java, indicating the positive progress of the Randu Gunting block.

?PHE Randu Gunting has spudded the Cempaka Emas exploration well (CPE-1) on December 4, 2011 at 09.00 am.

PHE Randu Gunting planned to drill up to 2,750 meters targeted depth. The well is located in Tinapan village, Kunduran sub-district, Blora Regency, PHE President Director, Salis Aprilian told Petromindo.com.

Salis expects the planned gas finding in the well would be produced to meet gas needs of consumers in East Java and Central Java provinces.

Randu Gunting block is jointly developed by PHE Randu Gunting, Petronas and Petrovietnam. PHE Randu Gunting holds 40 percent interest, while Petronas and Petrovietnam each owns 30 percent. (godang)
