PHE repairs damaged submarine hose

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) has managed to fully repair submarine hose damaged by a recent storm at the West Madura Offshore block in East Java.

?The repair works to fix the submarine hose have been completed with no incident. Oil transport is now at the level of 7,000 bopd,? said President Director Salis Aprilian to petromindo.com.

In relevant development, Salis said that several wells could not immediately return to normal activities after being closed as the result of recent bad weather.

?But the good news is, our first exploration well in 2013 (KE-53-2 well) indicates a very good hydrocarbon potential, be it in the Kujung or Ngimbang formation. Hopefully, the test result is good as well,? Salid added.
