PHE suspends production activity in WMO block

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) has suspended production activity at the West Madura Offshore (WMO) block, East Java, after the PHE-12 platform tilted on May 2.

?The PHE-12 platform tilted. In line with the incident management procedures, the PHE WMO management decided to suspend the operation of PHE-12 platform until condition returns to normal,? said PHE Corporate Secretary Edy Sunaedy to Petromindo.com on Friday referring to the company?s subsidiary which operates the WMO block.

The PHE 12 field started production in the first quarter of this year, according to a recent company statement. PHE 12 and PHE 24 form an integrated field development project at the WMO block.
