General Manager PHE, Tenny Wibowo, said that ONWJ?s average production has increased from 23,066 barrels per day in 2009, to 31,373 barrels per day so far this year. Next year?s production is expected to further increase to 35,000 BOPD.
"As the production performance of ONWJ continues to increase, in 2012, we are optimistic that production could reach 35,000 BOPD or up 52% from 2009," said Tenny Wibowo on Wednesday.
To reach the target, Tenny said, PHE will continue to maintain safety performance, as well as raise investment.
"This year, PHE ONWJ will drill seven infill wells, three developing wells, and 15 work over wells, replacing pipes, and upgrade compressor control system," he said.
"These efforts are part of PHE management to support the government?s program to boost national oil and gas production," said Tenny. Meanwhile, gas production of the ONWJ block has reached 186 billion british thermal units (BBTU). (godang/giok)
