PHE to drill 3rd well in Randu Gunting PSC

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) and its partners, Petronas Carigali of Malaysia and Petrovietnam of Vietnam, have planned to conduct drilling of the third well in Randu Gunting Block in Blora, Central Java next month (September 2013) as part of their exploration commitment during this year.

With the drilling of the well, PHE will present a proposal of put on production to upstream authority SKK Migas. ?We?ll feel more comfortable to propose the put on production (PoP) to SKK Migas if we succeed in the drilling of the well in Randu Gunting Block,? PHE Public Relations Manager Sugeng Haryanto told Petromindo.com in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Sugeng said that previously his company had drilled two wells in Randu Gunting Block. "The first one was dry hole, while the second one was halted. Now, we?ll try the third well,? he said.
