PHE to drill another 55 wells in August to December

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) expects to have drilled 50 exploration and development wells by the end of July, and another 55 wells within the rest of the year.
PHE also recorded an average production of 68,770 bopd in June, averaging 63,190 bopd so far this year.
The year-to-date average represents about 82 percent of target.
"This was mainly because of an obstacle in West Madura Offshore (WMO) which earlier in year only produced below 10,000 bopd as we had to install platform and 16 inch pipe as well as add a rig," Corporate Secretary Wahidin Nurluzia told Petromindo.com.
Wahidin added that production in WMO averaged 17,000 bopd in June.
