PHE to drill eight exploration wells this year

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), an upstream subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, has set exploration target this year to find 2C oil and gas resources of 185.8 mmboe from the drilling of eight exploration wells.
Rudy Ryacuku, Exploration Director at PHE told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that the company has also set target of 5,000-km 2D seismic activities, and 1,405-sqkm of 3D seismic programs.
He added that the company will also initiate a number of G&G studies this year to help find new oil and gas prospects to support future growth.
