PHE to drill KGR-1 well in Randu Gunting block

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) plans to drill the KGR-1 well in Randu Gunting block, in Blora, Centra Java, in October.

?If everything goes well, the plan is to drill the KGR-1 well in the second week of October with planned depth of 7,200 feet,? Head of Survey and Drilling at upstream authority SKK Migas, Arief Fanshuri told Petromindo.com Monday.

Public Relations Head at PHE Sugent Haryonto confirmed the planned drilling program at KGR-1 well in the Randu Gunting block, which is jointly developed with Petronas Carigali of Malaysia, and Petrovietnam of Vietnam.

Drilling at KGR-1 will use the Apexindo 2 rig owned by oil and gas drilling services firm PT Apexindo Pratama Duta, Arief said.
