PHE to finalize gas sales talks with Krakatau Steel

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ), a susbsidiary of state oil, gas company PT Pertamina, expects to finalize talks on gas sales purchase agreement with PT Krakatau Steel and Balongan refinery over the next one or two months.

?The talks over supplying gas to Balongan refinery and PT Krakatau Steel are still going on. The negotiation with KS is now in final stage,? President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ Tenny Wibowo told Petromindo.com.

Tenny who is also director for international business of PHE said PHE ONWJ is no longer supplying gas to PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) as the contract with state gas distributor has expired.

?It (contract with PGN) has ended last month. As of today, there is no revision of the contract,? said Tenny. He noted the gas output from PHE ONWJ is currently supplied to existing customers, namely PT PLN, at a volume of 110 mmscfd and Balongan refinery with a volume of 50 mmscfd.
