PHE to install pipeline, new platform at WMO

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) plans to install a 21 km-long pipeline linking KE-38 well at its West Madura Offshore block and Poleng production facility in East Java this June or July.
In the meantime, it also expects the arrival later on this month of a new platform it has ordered from Bakrie Construction.
?With the installation of platform and pipeline we expect to increase production at WMO to 16,000 to 18,000 bopd,? Director of Operation Edi Purnomo told petromindo.com.
Edi said the company is optimistic that WMO production this year could reach 30,000 bopd. As of May, production at the WMO block reached about 15,500 bopd.
