PHE to launch tender for rig supply

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) is making preparations to hold a tender for rig supply after its plan of development for the PHE #36 field in West Madura Offshore (WMO) Block in East Java having been approved by the SK Migas, the caretaker upstream oil and gas regulator.
Company Corporate Secretary Wahidin told Petromindo.com Friday that the tender will be held for the supply of two rigs to replace the current ones, whose contracts will expire in August of 2013.
He expected the tender process to be completed before August of this year.
Meanwhile, PHE President Director Salis Aprilian said that the company plans to conduct drilling of 30 wells this year, comprising of 21 development wells and nine exploration wells.
