PHE to spud one well in ONWJ block this month

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) plans to spud the LLD-3ST development well at the ONWJ block in West Java Province this month.
?We have scheduled to spud the LLD-3ST well in mid-June 2017,? Executive Vice President/General Manager of PHE ONWJ Irwansyah told Petromindo.com on Friday.
The well will be drilled by using a jack up rig owned by IDX-listed oil and gas drilling contractor PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk.
The government signed on January 18 a new production sharing contract of the ONWJ block, assigning the entire contract to the block?s previous operator PHE ONWJ, an indirect subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina. The government applied for the first time the newly-introduced gross split scheme in the new ONWJ block contract, meaning that the operator will no longer get reimbursement from the government for its operating and production costs.
