PHE WMO awaits 3 new platforms

PT Pertamina Hulu Energy West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO) expects the arrival of three new platforms soon for three fields within the WMO block.
?The three platforms will be installed in PHE-KE 38B, PHE-KE 39 and PHE-KE 54 field. We expect the platforms to arrive later on in June, so that we have at least one platform installed soon,? PHE Director of Operation Edi Purnomo told petromindo.com.
He added that the company is also waiting for another platform which is currently being refurbished at Adiguna yard following a crash with a container. ?This platform is for PHE-KE 40.?
As of May, production at the WMO block reached about 15,500 bopd. Director for Upstream Operations of state oil and gas company Pertamina, Muhammad Husen, has said that production could reach 30,000 bopd by the end of 2012.
