PHE WMO conducts pre-drilling, awaits PoD approval

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), since the past week has carried out a pre-drilling program at the PHE-44 well in the West Madura Offshore (WMO) block, East Java.

PHE President Director Tenny Wibowo told Petromindo.com Wednesday that the firm has already obtained approval from the upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas for the pre-drilling well program.

He added that the company was still awaiting for the approval of the proposed plan of development (PoD) for the construction of six platform at the WMO block. He said that the company targeted the platforms to be on stream in the middle of 2015.

Meanwhile, SKK Migas Public Relations Head, Elan Biantoro told Petromindo.com that his office is speeding up the process of approval of the PoD for the six platforms.
