PHE WMO launches tender for offshore drilling rig

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO), a production sharing contractor (PSC) of upstream auhtority BPMIGAS, on Tuesday launched tender for the provision of offshore drilling rig.
The scope of work is to provide an offshore jack-up drilling unit and associated expert drilling services to drill, complete, work-over and test offshore for 14-30 work-over, development and exploration wells.
The contract will last between 12 to 24 months, commencing mid year 2012, the company said.
The wells will consist of vertical to extended reach and horizontal profiles. The company said the rig must meet requirement of minimum of 35 percent local content.
The registration period is set for March 6-8.
