PHE WMO oil production stands at 12,500 bpd

Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) said that until mid of this year, oil production at the West Madura Offshore (WMO) off East Java stood at 12,500 bpd, and gas production at 160 mmscfd.

?Until now, average production at WMO is 12,500 bpd, plus 160 mmscfd (of gas),? PHE Director of Operational Edi Purnomo told Petromindo.com Friday.

He added that between mid 2012 and 2013, at the WMO, the company will drill 5 exploration wells and 15 development wells, and carry out dozens of workover as well as installing 3 new production platforms and refurbishment of one platform.

Earlier reports said that with the operation of three new production platforms, output will hit an average of 16,000 bpd of oil in 2012.
