PHE WMO operates Java Star rig

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO), the operator of WMO block offshore East Java, witnessed on Saturday the operation of Java Star rig ? the fourth rig currently in operation in the block.
Java Star belongs to another subsidiary of PT Pertamina, PT Pertamina Drilling Servis Indonesia.
?Today, the Java Star started drilling production well at WMO. Hopefully it will yield positive results,? said General Manager Imron Asjhari during the ceremony in Gresik marking the operation of the rig.
Imron added that for 2013, the company plans to drill 30 wells, including 22 exploitation wells. ?Of the total 22, we are hopeful that several of them could be ready for production by the end of February.?
