PHE: WMO platform preparation already 70 percent

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) said that it had reached 70 percent of the preparation works of installing 3 new platforms in the West Madura Offshore Block, East Java.

"The preparation has been up to 70 percent. The platforms will be installed starting September this year,? PHE President Director Salis Aprilian told Petromindo.com in Jakarta on Tuesday, and further elaborating that one platform would be installed in September and afterwards two platforms will be installed starting December 2012 until early next year.

The WMO production is expected to raise PHE?s production target, which is now set at 60,000 bopd from all blocks owned by PHE.

"WMO cannot yet reach its maximum production as it has to wait for the installment of one rig and three platforms,? he said, adding that at the end of this year WMO is targeted to reach a production of 20,000 bopd.
