PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO) saw its crude output in the first half of this year jumped by 64.3 percent to 21,155 bopd compared to 12,878 bopd in the same six-month period of last year, Investor Daily reported on Monday

The achievement, however, was still lower than the 21,432 bopd target set by the government.

Meanwhile, gas production during the period reached 118 mmscfd, exceeding the 113 mmscfd target, all of which are allocated for the domestic market.

The paper quoted PHE WMO General Manager Boyke Pardede as saying that oil and gas production activities were hampered by bad weather condition in the early part of this year.

Boyke said that the company would maintain the higher production momentum in the second half of this year to meet the oil and gas output target.
