PHE WMO to conduct exploration drilling, 3D seismic survey

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO), operator of the West Madura Offshore block in East Java, is planning to drill an exploration well and carry out a 3D seismic acquisition in the WMO block this year.
"We?re supposed to conduct the exploration drilling and seismic in 2015, but we postponed it. In the 2016 WP&B (Work Program and Budget), we've put a plan for drilling of an exploration well and a 3D seismic survey," President/GM of PHE WMO Boyke Pardede told Petromindo.com.
He said, the seismic acquisition will be carried out in the southern region of Madura Strait along 300-400 sqkm in the fourth quarter of 2016.
PHE WMO has an 80 percent interest in the block with Kodeco holding the rest of the shares.
