PHE WMO to drill 30 wells

PT Pertamina Hulu Energy West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO) will drill 30 wells this year, including 9 exploration wells, according to President Director Salis S. Aprilian.

This follows a successful drilling in March of exploration well PHE KE38-2, reaching 506 feet of gas zone and 113 feet of oil zone in Kujung I formation.

Data derived from the well have similarities with those of other wells in PHE KE38A field, which has an initial production of oil at 3,500 barrels per day (bopd) and gas at 10 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd).
