Bahlil said the government's energy policy is focused on strengthening energy security amid geopolitical tensions that continue to create uncertainty in global oil markets. He said Indonesia will boost oil production by deploying enhanced oil recovery (EOR) technology at mature fields, accelerating the development of approved discoveries, and offering 118 new oil and gas blocks to investors.
