PIM seeking 7 cargoes of LNG from Bontang this year

Fertilizer plant PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) said it is seeking to secure seven cargoes of LNG from Bontang LNG plant in East Kalimantan this year, company Finance Director Lili Djadjuli said.

Lili told Petromindo.com that each cargo of LNG will be negotiated separately. So far, PIM has secured one cargo of LNG at a price of US$8 per mmbtu.

Lili said portion of the LNG price is covered by subsidy from the Agriculture Ministry. Lili however did not disclose the amount of subsidy it gets.
