Pinrang Power plans coal-fired power plant in S. Sulawesi

Local company PT. Pinrang Power Indonesia plans to develop 2x15 coal-fired power plant in Pinrang regency, South Sulawesi, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Friday.
The company had signed an MoU to build the plant with Pinrang regency. The daily quoted company?s managing director Ferry Humanto as saying that Pinrang Power would spend US$30 million to develop the project. Ferry estimated the project would take 18 months to construct. (*)
