PJB assigns sister company to handle spare parts provision

PT Pembangkit Jawa Bali (PJB), a subsidiary of state owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its sister company, PT Pembangkit Jawa Bali Services (PJBS), to handle the provision of spare parts for the coal fired power plants (PLTU) developed under the First Phase 10,000 MW fast track program.

The signing of the MoU on Monday was witnessed by PJB?s President Director Amir Rosidin, PJB?s Director Development and Commerce Mulyo Adji, PJBS? President Director Hari Suharso and PJB?s Stockist Senior Manager Bambang Anggono, PJB said in a statement on Wednesday.

Following the signing of the MoU, PJB?s stockists are expected to provide spare parts to PJB through one door, that is PJBS. With the new role, PJBS is expected to be able to develop itself and perform.
