PJB calls for bids to supply 6.6MT coal for Paiton

PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB), a unit of state electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), announced on Monday a tender to supply 1.32 million tons per annum (MTPA) coal to its Paiton power plant in East Java under 5-year contract, starting next year.

PJB said that bidders must be holders of a coal contract of work (CCoW) or IUP license.

The coal is offered by the bidders should be sourced from their own mines, which should have been in production for at least 6 months. The coal will be delivered by minimum 5,000-tons barges.
