PJB, IP sign MoU with two Japanese firms

PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali (PJB) and PT Indonesia Power (IP), both of which are subsidiaries of state-owned electricity firm PT. PLN, signed on Friday MoU with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems and Mitsubishi Corporation to further expand existing collaboration on the operation and maintenance of steam and gas turbines at the PLN units.
PJB said in a press statement obtained Monday that while the existing collaboration has already started since 2008, the company wants to further expand and develop it by conducting various joint activities such as technical training program, annual technical seminar, joint research program, and field service business.
