PJB launches tender for 2.88mt coal supply

PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PT PJB), a subsidiary of state electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) that runs Paiton 1 and 2 power plant in East Java announced on Monday the PQ tender for the supply of 2.88 million tons of coal to the company.
The company is inviting CCoW or IUP holders capable of supplying 120,000 tons of 5,000 kcal/kg (GAR) +/- 40 percent per month for two years to participate in the tender. Minimum supply capacity for eligible bidder is 60,000 tonnes per month.
Mines operated by suppliers must be declared Clean and Clear by the ministry of energy and mineral resources with minimum mineable reserves of 7 million tons.
Shipment is estimated to start April 2013, the company said.
Interested bidders can submit PQ document from August 13 through Ausgust 31, 2012 to PJB?s office at:
