PJB opens 4MT coal supply tender

PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali (PJB), a unit of state electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) that runs Paiton 1 and 2 coal-fired power plants in East Java announced on Tuesday special PQ tender to supply 4 million tonnes of coal to the company.
According to the company?s announcement, it sought suppliers which are Coal contract of Work holders with supply volume of 110,000 tonnes per month +/- 30 percent for three years. It did not give detail when shipment would start.
The company requires coal with CV of 4,800 kcal/kg (AR).
Interested bidders can submit PQ document from June 28 through July 8, 2011 at PJB?s office at: PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali, Gedung Satuan Pengadaan, Jl. Ketintang Baru No.11, Surabaya. (alex)
