PJB opens 720,000 tonnes coal supply tender

PT.Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB), a unit of state electricity firm PLN which runs Paiton 800-MW coal-fired power plant in East Java announced on Tuesday the opening of tender to supply 720,000 tonnes of coal for January ?December 2008 delivery
PJB said it was looking for suppliers, which has supply capacity of at least 30,000 tonnes per month, with uncontracted capacity of at least 30,000 tonnes per month , have loading port that uses conveyor and ship the coal with at least 5,000 tonnes barge.
PJB is looking for coal with CV value of 4,300-4,500 kCal/kg AR, total moisture of 30-34%, HGI of 50-53, sulphur content of max 0.5% AR and ash content of 4-6% AR.
Tender document could be obtained from November 6-12, 2007 at the company?s office.
