PJB opens coal supply tender

Power plant producer PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali (PJB), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT PLN, announced pre-qualification tender to seek suppliers for its 2017 coal requirement.
PJB said in a tender announcement seen on Friday that it is looking for coal with typical gross coal calorific value of 5,200 kcal/kg AR (min 5,100) and total sulfur content of between 0.3-0.35 percent.
The announcement said that registration for the PQ participants is scheduled on May 26-June 2, 2017 (office days) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the PJB headquarters office on Jalan Ketintang Baru No 11, Surabaya, East Java (Telp 031-8283180 ext. 171). Submission of required documents is scheduled on June 5-June 9, 2017.
