PJB opens coal supply tender for Paiton

PT.Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) announced on Tuesday tender to supply 500,000 tonnes of low CV coal for its Paiton 800-MW power plant in East Java for March to December 2008 delivery.
PJB invited miners and traders which has supply capacity of 25,000 tonnes per month with un-contracted capacity of 25,000 tonnes per month to participate in the tender.
The coal should be loaded using conveyor and shipped with 5,000 tonnes barge to Paiton.
The company requires coal CV of between 4,300-4,500Kcal/kg with total moisture of maximum 34 percent, ash content maximum of 6 percent, HGI minimum of 48 and sulphur content of 0.5 percent.
Tender document could be obtained at PJB?s office in Surabaya from January 22 to 28. (alex)
