PJB opens coal supply tender for Paiton

PT.Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali, a power generation unit of state electricity firm PLN announced on Tuesday the opening of 60,000 tonnes per month coal supply for its Paiton power plant in East Java.
The company said the tender would seek miners to supply the power plant from 2009 to 2010.
According to the announcement, eligible bidders would be Coal Contract of Work (CCoW) or Mining License holders which have been in production for at least one year.
The company also requires coal to be transported by barge with minimum capacity of 5,000 tons.
Specifications of the coal required are as follows:
