PJB re-opens coal supply PQ for Paiton power plant

PJB said that the PQ registration was re-opened due to limited number of suppliers passed the requirements set by the company in earlier PQ.
According to the announcement, the company is looking for legal suppliers, which have production capacity of at least 60,000 tones per month, having recoverable coal reserves of at least 3.6 million tones and having been producing coal for at least one year.
The company also required interested suppliers to use barge with minimum loading of 5,000 tones.
PJB said coal requirement it set for the supply should be between 5,100-5,300 Kcal/kg with total moisture of 24 percent, HGI 51, sulphur content 0.3 percent AR, ash content 4%AR.
The company did not say the volume of coal it wished to buy. Pre-qualification will be closed on April 28, 2006.(alex)
