PJB?s Paiton coal tender attracts 5 bidders

PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB), a unit of state electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), said on Monday that the tender to supply 1.32 million tons of (MTPA) coal to its Paiton power plant in East Java under for 12 months with +/- 30 percent swing is attracting five bidders

PJB is expected to announce the winner one week after bid submission which is scheduled next week.

?All bidders will be invited to hear the explanation of the tender from procurement committee on Jan. 5,? PJB said.

PJB did not reveal the name of the bidders.

Bid registration for the tender ended on Dec. 31, 2010 (denny)
