PJB seeks 1.32MT coal supply for Paiton

PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB), a unit of state electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), announced on Tuesday tender to supply 1.32 million tonnes of (MTPA) coal to its Paiton power plant in East Java under for 12 months with +/- 30 percent swing.

The company did not say when the shipment would start.

The company said coal must be supplied by companies that have coal contract of work (CCoW) or mining license (IUP) which had been in production for alt least 6 months.

The company said that coal must be delivered with barges of minimum volume of 5,000 tonnes.

Bid registration would be held from Dec 22 through 31, 2010 at PJB?s office Jl. Ketintang Baru 11, Surabaya, East Java.(denny)
