PJB signs long-term contract with Harbin Electric

PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB), a subsidiary of state-owned electricity firm PT. PLN, on Monday signed a long-term contract with China?s Harbin Electric International Co Ltd for the supply of goods and services for the 2x100 MW Asahan hydropower plant in North Sumatra.

The company said in a statement that the contract was signed by PJB Development and Commercial Director Muljo Adji and Harbin Vice Chairman Qu Aimin.

Harbin in February of this year signed long-term after sales service contract for a 670 W coal-fired power plant in Banten. The contract includes the supply and installation of equipment and spare parts as well as O&M and inspection.
