Indonesia Coal Miner Pesona Khatulistiwa Nusantara (PKN) has produced about 900,000 tons of coal in the first six months of this year.

Jeffrey Mulyono, President Director of PKN told Petromindo.com that the production was from Kelubir block and Sekayan block with 600,000 tons and 300,000 tons respectively.

Initially, the company was expecting to produce 3 million tons along the year of 2012. It has however revised its target down to 2.5 million tons since the coal market is in bearish condition.
